Hello Everyone!
School is going well. We are learning how to use our scalers; this is one of the instruments the hygienist would use to clean your teeth above the gums. I have noticed that learning a different instrument every week has been very beneficial for me; this has helped me remember them all. I never realized all the different instruments a hygienist uses with every patient. We are continually taking x-rays on patients, as well as making whitening trays and mouth guards.
The weather has made it difficult wanting to go to class this week, but I did it. As a North Dakota resident, I embrace temperatures that reach 70 degrees, especially in November. We have been able to go on our nightly walks, spend some time at the park and rack up all the leaves. Kayden loved playing in the leaves; he is a boy that loves different textures, so the crinkling of the leaves was a hit for him. Hopefully, you have been able to take full advantage of being outside as well.
