Celebrating Father’s Day
A father’s bond with his child is truly special; there’s nothing quite like a father’s love and the wisdom he shares with his children as they grow into adulthood. A father is a symbol of safety and comfort to the whole family. That’s why this Father’s Day, Kim, and her two sons are excited to celebrate the wonderful Dr. Roger Amundson. Kim will prepare a special barbecue in his honor!
There are so many positive attributes that make Dr. Amundson a great partner and father. Roger is loving, patient, kind, and DEFINITELY fun-loving! Kim appreciates the patience Roger has developed through raising their two sons. Dr. Amundson has always expressed honesty and trustworthiness in every interaction he has.
Not only was Dr. Amundson's father, Byron, a great influence on Dr. Amundson; but Kim also benefited from Byron’s love and warmth and he taught her unconditional love for others. Byron was a funeral director who cared for the families who had lost a loved one. His compassion and understanding of the emotional distress were unbelievable. Byron loved Kim as his own, and his spirit will always be a huge part of her life.
As Kim observes their grown sons and how they live their lives, she notices Roger and his father, Byron, in both of them, even in small ways like how Paul doesn't eat eggs because his father hates the smell of them! Scott loves fishing just like Roger did at a young age. Their mannerisms and smiles are so much alike yet unique. And when they all get together; they laugh and enjoy the company.
We celebrate all fathers on June 21, 2020! Thank you for all you do!
