‘Tis the season to get into the holiday spirit and that is exactly what we at Amundson Dental Associates are busy doing. Our staff is looking forward to spending some cozy days inside with family all around. Nothing makes us happier than to watch little ones open their presents and play with ribbon and paper; it’s so cute!
After Thanksgiving, we start to “decorate the halls” of both our office and homes with festive cheer. One of our traditions this time of year is honoring our Nordic heritage by making some traditional dishes like Lefse, Lutefisk, and meatballs for Christmas Eve supper. For those of you who are adventurous, check out this Lutefisk recipe here.
Another way we like to get into the spirit of Christmas is by watching some of our favorite Christmas movies like Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, The Grinch, and, of course, Elf. A memorable Christmas moment Kim has from her childhood is when Santa brought her a Barbie doll with bendable legs and hair that would grow; her brother got mad and took the Barbie by the legs, broke it, and threw it in the snowbank!
Going forward into the new year we are going to try to make more time for exercise and have healthier diets. What are some of your goals for the new year?
